Ruin (Excerpt) - 2021
Ruin premiered virtually in April 2021 as part of the MFA Thesis Concert Series at the University of Iowa. This work is an exploration of what emerges amidst the ruins of unsustainable systems, structures and perceptions. How do we imagine becoming an agent of ruin and what responsibilities do we bear in doing so?
Wilderness/Wilderness - 2020
Wilderness/Wilderness is a dance film choreographed by Kate Vincek and directed/filmed by Mariko Ishikawa. Music by Ex-fiancée. This work was born out of an "Art at the End of the World" prompt. The work premiered on UIowa's Virtual MFA Event in April, 2020, and was featured in the Irondale Center's On Women Festival, New Media Storytelling platform in March, 2021.
Threshold/Another Next Thing - 2020
Threshold/Another Next Thing was made in collaboration with Bethany Sullivan for the final section of her Thesis Concert at the University of Iowa, Space Place Theater, March, 2020.
Periscope - 2020
Periscope is the documentation of a collaborative choreographic process that was cut short do the Covid-19 pandemic. Undergraduate students investigated themes of trust and memory to build collectively devised partnered material. Instead, the choreography has been re-envisioned as simple film highlighting each dancer's unique contributions to the process.
when she took her teeth out - 2019
When she took her teeth out is a contemporary dance work developed through a collaborative process, exploring themes of shifting perspective and misconstrued ideas of the self. Performed at the MFA event at the University of Iowa, Space Place Theater, April, 2019. Music composed by Ex-fiancée.
Portrait (Excerpt) - 2019
Portrait is a solo performance installation, investigating identity, heritage, and storytelling. It premiered in 2018 at the i3 Installation and Interactive Performance Showcase, and was adapted to a proscenium stage for the Faculty Graduate Concert at the University of Iowa's Space Place Theater, in February, 2019. This work features choreography built in response to an intricately designed sound score, and media projections.
Eternal Somewhere Else - 2019

Eternal Somewhere Else was choreographed in collaboration with Juliet Remmers as part of a collaboration between the International Writers Program and the Dance Department at UIowa. Performed at the IWP Event, November 2019. Poetry by Manuel Beccara.
Shrill - 2010
Shrill is a choreographic work exploring ideas of social conformity and ostracization. This piece was honored to perform at the 2010 National American College Dance Association Conference at the Kennedy Center, in Washington D.C.
Business As Usual (Excerpt) - 2020
Business As Usual is a lighthearted take on that feeling when there's the expectation to go about daily life as usual in the midst of a global pandemic. This work was featured in the virtual Witching Hour Festival, presented by the Englert Theatre and Little Village Magazine, in Iowa City, October, 2020.
